The
project is a resource for pupils studying the causes, course
and results of
the Great Famine in Ireland (1845-1849).
We
follow the story of a sister and brother and find out
what
life was like for them before the Famine,
how they survived during the Famine years,
their experiences as passengers on the Famine ship "Dunbrody"
and how they fared in the "New World".
