Looking at & Responding to .... Construction ... Looking at Sculpture . . Singing Bird

The sculpture represents of a singing bird. What lines do you see here? Artist Conor Fallon put the figure in water. What bird do you think it is? The bird is made from stainless steel. Is this a good choice of material? What do you like about this sculpture? Please send your comments to us and we will add them to the project.

Tell us what you think of Conor's sculpture

Water is used to give the impression that the bird is rising on columns of water and the fine jets give the impression of volume in terms of light. The metal bird is positioned on a hollow base
