Examples of line can be seen everywhere around us. These are found in nature and in the many man made objects that surround us.
What is a line? A line can be a path made by a moving point. A line is created by movement. Every line has thickness, direction and movement or rhythm. Line can suggest many things to us. Lines can be horizontal or vertical. We live in a world of vertical lines - houses, lampposts, trees, buildings, pipes etc. Examine the photos below to see what type of lines are in them.
