Thanks.

I would most sincerely like to thank Michael Purcell for his very kind permission to allow his remarkable archive of old images of Carlow be made available for downloading for educational purposes. It is a fascinating collection and Carlow is forever in Michael's debt. Please refer to the Parents / Teacher section for more detail on these magnificent books.
I would like to thank my colleague and local historian, Mr. Liam Kelly for all his wise words and suggestions. I am particularly thankful for all his help and advice in developing this site.
I would like to thank all the primary teachers of Carlow who participated in the digital photography courses being run by Carlow Education Centre. These archives consist of photographs taken by local primary school teachers as part of a summer course on digital photography from the years 2003-2005-2006-2007. I would especially like to thank these teachers for their patience, enthusiasm and above all understanding of what the project entails.
I would like to thank John Hurley, Greg Gilligan, Deirdre Butler and Michael Hallissey for all their assistance with my Teachnet project. I have always found their advice practical and perceptive.I would like to thank Pat Brennan, mentor for all his advice and perceptive suggestions. They are very much appreciated.

Finally, any faults, mistakes, errata are solely my responsibility.
