To create a local history DVD the most important piece of software that you will need is Moviemaker 2. This is a free program that comes with the Vista operating system. This means that if you have bought a computer from 2007 onwards you have it already preinstalled. Rather than creating a manual on how to use Moviemaker 2, we have some samples here that you may download. The most important tip we can give you is that you do the photographs first- tranisitions and effects next. Then proceed to adding text. The final thing you may do is add appropriate music or commentry. N.B. When burning your DVD make sure it is "finalised" otherwise it will not play on other DVD players. |
