History is not only what has happened in the past but it is also what is happening now. These project task srequire you to visit the places below which were photographed 2004-2005-and 2006. At the time of writing in 2007 many of these sites have changed. It is your task to note these changes.

When visiting the Barrow Track please note all the buidings that were demolished in 2006 and are now gone from the riverbank.

All these buildings which were to be found along the Barrow Track were demolished in 2006 and are now  gone.

The Talbot hotel is under construction in the summer of 2005. The following year Dunne's stores was built in the adjoining field.

This picture shows the town park being completed in the summer of 2003.

Beside the large yellow house there is a low wall with a plaque on it. This front wall marks the location of a house that was bought for two million euros in 2006. As soon as the house was bought it was knocked down and demolished. Why?

The above business was a very good employer in Carlow. It closed in 2006/2007. What did it do?
