This site hows you how to create short videos to support Junior Cert music students in studying free-choice works. Transition Year students will compile the videos.

This will

1. encourage Transition Year students to highlight the main characteristics of works through pictures and snatches of notation, corresponding to the relevant sounds clips and
2. become a resource for helping Junior Cert music students to listen more easily to the music when they have no notated score.

Suitable works include Danse Macabre (Saint-Saens), Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (Mozart), Vltava (Smetana), Four Seasons (Vivaldi), 1812 Overture (Tchaikovsky), William Tell Overture (Rossini), Pictures at an Exhibition (Mussorgsky) and Peer Gynt (Grieg).
