Tutorials	The goal in the following tutorials is to create a comic book type story featuring text as Gaeilge. This is what the final piece of complete work will look like. I will use a variety of images (pupil photographs, images from royalty free stock and images from the Web) to create the story. I will show you how to edit these images, how to add speech bubbles and text and finally how to compile them into the comic book strip format. The tutorials will cover working with two main software applications - PaintShop Pro and PagePlus. You will find links to 30 day trial versions of these programs on the resources page. Almost all of the ICT skills shown in the following tutorials are cross program transferable. Outside of this tutorial, all of the original work was done in class. Pupils watched and provided their input during our daily ceacht Gaeilge. Much of the initial work was quite repetitious but it gave everyone plenty of opportunity to become familiar with these two software programs. You will find that once you have a stock of edited pictures you can spend a lot more time ag obair as Gaeilge.
