DeskTop Publishing Program	Image Editing Program	Classroom Samples
I use PagePlus 11 from Serif as my default desktop publishing program. I've been using this program for a long time and I have graduated through the various updates and upgrades over the years. Serif have a freeware edition available for download from here. Serif PagePlus	I haven't strayed from PaintShop Pro since I first bought version 5! Formerly developed by Jasc, the program is now developed and marketed by Corel. Although the latest version is PaintShop Photo Pro X3 I'm still using PaintShop Pro X which is a few years old at this stage! A trial version is available from the Corel website; registration / email required before downloading.	Our 1st story featured Beircheart-a-Deich agus Madra an tUachtarán! Alternatives	Alternatives
There is an open source alternative for use called Scribus. This program can be downloaded from Scribus download.	Irfan view is well featured and easy to use. GIMP is an open source program that has plenty of image editing features.
OpenOffice or MS Word could also be used to make the comic strip.	An archive web site has a store of trial editions of Paint Shop Pro - PSP Previous trial editions


PDF Printer	This free program will allow you to print any page to PDF format.
